On March 28, 2009, Kenji Yanobe’s massive doll Giant Torayan stood before a crowd and spouted flames, captivating the audience and launching the history of Roppongi Art Night. Since then, prominent artists such as Yayoi Kusama, Katsuhiko Hibino, Kohei Nawa, and Mika Ninagawa have added their own touches to Roppongi Art Night’s history. Don’t miss this exhibition of Art Night’s history as well as a highlight of this year’s spots to check out.
