A workshop to conceptually examine the memories and periods in time expressed by old clothes with artist Naoko Yoshimoto as instructor. The completed works will be exhibited as a collaboration with the “Ghost-days gone by” works of Naoko Yoshimoto in the lobby of the National Art Center, Tokyo.

ARTISTS

Naoko Yoshimoto

Born in Hyogo Prefecture in 1972. With the support from the Agency of Cultural Affairs and the Pola Art Foundation she traveled to and studied in the UK. Through the momories that remain in old clothes she creates artworks that make the spectators reflect on “life” and “death”.
Exhibited at the National Art Center, Tokyo, at the “16th DOMANI : The Art of Tomorrow” Exhibition. Currently based in Kyoto.
