Guided Tour to help you get the most out of Roppongi Art Night Meetings on the street

This will be the 3rd year for the guided tour by volunteers. Based on the unique method of art viewing called ACOP, volunteer guides trained in advance by art education scholar Tomoki Hirano, will be giving unique tours of the artworks and Roppongi unlike any other, while enjoying dialogue with participants. These tours vary greatly depending on the number and character of the participants and no two tours are the same.

ACOP

Since 2004, the Art Communication Research Center (ACOP) at Kyoto University of Art and Design has undertaken work that reevaluates and harnesses fundamental human communication in the field of art education.

Tomoki Hirano

Specializing in corporate training program evaluation, he also organizes participatory art-viewing workshops in museums and collective living environments around Japan, and explores accessible learning environments design through the medium of art. His previous workshops include Marebito Museum of Art (2010 and ongoing), Museobattle by Kansai Art Beat (2014), and Poscaholic Workshop (2014). He is a part-time lecturer at Kyoto University of Art and Design’s Art Communication Research Center.
