A projection device dedicated to transmit not information, but expression such as colors and movement. An experiment in exploring different possibilities in the optimal solution derived from generalization and optimization. ryo kishi

Ryo Kishi completed postgraduate studies at the University of Tokyo and resumed his research in 2014 after a three-years hiatus. Rather than techniques and tools, his experimental projects focus on phenomena. He produces spatial display that uses the phenomenon of an afterimage and kinetic sculptures to which he applied the Coandă effect. Kishi has presented his work at exhibitions in Japan and overseas, including Ars Electronica and the “Motion Science” exhibition at 21_21 DESIGN SIGHT.
