Born in 1985 in Saga Prefecture. Artist. Koki Otsuka completed
postgraduate studies in oil painting and printmaking at Aichi

Exploring the theme of going beyond the abstraction encompassed
in organic forms, Otsuka creates work by applying a simple rule
to material and continuously making adaptations. His recent

(Minokamo City Museum, Gifu) in 2016, “National Institute for
Basic Biology Open Campus Festival Exhibition” (National

Prefectural Museum of Art) in 2017, and “Street Museum” (Tokyo
Midtown) in 2017. He received runner-up prize at the Tokyo
Midtown Award 2016 Art Competition.
