Taka Ishii Gallery is pleased to present its first solo exhibition with Rika Noguchi, known for her photographic works that convey a unique sense of distance to the subject through a gaze critically described as “the stranger’s eyes at work.” Featured are new works by Noguchi, who within her practice incorporates astronomical aspects such as light that is an essential element within the medium of photography, while continuing to assiduously deconstruct and examine the elements that comprise the photograph.
