George Ferrandi is a Brooklyn-based interdisciplinary artist, whose projects engage new approaches to spectacle, narrative, ritual, and collaboration. Ferrandi’s work has been presented throughout the US, and her work has been reviewed in the New York Times, The Village Voice, and The Atlantic. Ferrandi is a US-Japan Creative Artists Program Fellow sponsored by the Japan-US Friendship Commission, for which she plans to study the illuminated floats used in the Nebuta festival, in preparation for her own large-scale interdisciplinary festival project celebrating the Axial Precession.
