Love – Life – Laugh: Field Trip Project

Field Trip Project is a mobile/participatory/interactive art exhibition consisting of 35 works by Canadian artists installed in Japanese elementary school backpacks originally sent to disaster-affected areas in Tohoku as relief supplies. For Roppongi Art Night, the project will be transformed into a hybrid installation – Secret Island Treasure, a video projection by Alex McLeod and Krystle Tabujara; We Are Happy, an installation by Michael Toke; All you need is love Maybe and All you need is laugh Maybe, neon works by Takeya Daisuke; and David Trautrimas’s image-based sculpture Beacon – assembled with used pallets from Aizuwakamatsu, Fukushima.
