This exhibition marks the largest solo show devoted to the work of the creative director Kashiwa Sato (b. 1965). As the art director of the Hakuhodo Inc., Sato helmed a succession of innovative advertising projects in the 1990s. After becoming independent in 2000, he garnered international acclaim for his revolutionary visual and corporate identity plans, and branding strategies for a diverse range of clients. The exhibition examines Sato’s unprecedented activities over the last approximately 30 years, stretching from his early advertising projects to his major logo designs and most recent projects.
