A part of Nishio’s three-part “The Body in Connection Project,” in Buttons/Rain, buttons were collected from old clothing from around Roppongi and other places and strung together with fishing line to look like falling rain. The site-specific installation is set to transform the image of The National Art Center, Tokyo’s “umbrella stand” space.
